AMCCO Properties Donates Desktop Computers to Kiriri Primary School in Digital Skills Push

There is something about walking into a school compound and watching children's faces light up that puts everything into perspective. That was the scene at Kiriri Primary School on Wednesday, 13th May 2026, when the AMCCO Properties team arrived with desktop computers, and three very familiar faces.
Computers for the Next Generation

AMCCO Properties visited Kiriri Primary School as part of its ongoing commitment to giving back to the communities in the areas where it operates. The donation of desktop computers was deliberate. In an age defined by digital information and artificial intelligence, ensuring that children in our neighbourhoods have access to the tools they need to compete and thrive is not optional. It is necessary.
The computers will be used to equip pupils with foundational digital skills, giving them a head start in a world that increasingly demands them.
Familiar Faces, Genuine Excitement

Joining the AMCCO team on the day were three of Kenya's well-known content creators and influencers — Mbote Njogu, Wanjiru wa Waya, and Nyojoro. Their presence turned what was already a special occasion into something the pupils will be talking about for a long time.
Headteacher Mr. Samuel welcomed the delegation warmly and brought the students out to meet their favourite personalities. What followed was exactly the kind of afternoon a school day rarely delivers — laughter, energy, handshakes, and the kind of genuine interaction that no classroom exercise can replicate.
The school president delivered a heartfelt speech on behalf of the student body, expressing gratitude for the gesture. A member of the teaching staff also addressed the delegation, and Mr. Samuel himself spoke about what the donation means for the school's ability to prepare learners for the future.
A Reunion Nobody Saw Coming
Amid the excitement of the day came one of those moments that reminds you how small the world really is.
As it turned out, Mr. Samuel — Kiriri Primary's current headteacher — was Mbote Njogu's teacher at another school when Mbote was in Class One. The two had not crossed paths in years. Standing in that school compound in May 2026, the reunion drew smiles all around and became the unexpected highlight of an already memorable visit.

Not Our First Visit
This was not AMCCO's first time at Kiriri Primary. The company has visited the school before, on a previous occasion donating Bibles and storybooks to support literacy and values-based learning among the pupils.
The repeat visits reflect something AMCCO genuinely believes: that the relationship between a property developer and the communities it operates in should not begin and end with a land transaction. The people who live in Ngong, Kikuyu, and the surrounding areas are neighbours and good neighbours show up.
Community Is at the Heart of What We Do
At AMCCO Properties, we sell land. But the reason we are selective about where we invest and how we operate comes down to something simpler than profit margins we want the areas we develop to genuinely grow. Schools that are well-resourced, communities that are connected, and families that are thriving are what make land in an area worth owning in the first place.
The Kiriri Primary visit is part of a broader effort to contribute meaningfully to the Thigio community, and it will not be the last.
