AMCCO engaged Kenyans in Rwanda on safe land buying, flexible payments, and 30-day title deeds. Diaspora-focused investment with AKR and Kenyan Ambassador partnership.
For Kenyans working abroad, the question is always the same: "Can I really invest in land from this far away? Is it safe? Can I trust the process?"
On 23rd and 24th May, AMCCO Properties went to Rwanda with an answer. Culture and People's Manager Ken Peter Munyua and sales representative Sharon Chepngetich engaged with Kenyans living and working in Kigali — and showed them that owning appreciating Kenyan land from anywhere in the world is entirely possible.
The response was immediate: diaspora investors have been waiting for this conversation.
At Green Hills Academy on 23rd May, Ken and Sharon met Kenyans in Kigali with more than a pitch. They brought branded merchandise — leather bags, t-shirts, polos, hoodies, and pens — and spent the evening answering the three questions that matter most to diaspora investors:
1. Safety and title verification — How do I know the land is genuinely owned and legally transferable?
2. Payment flexibility — Can I buy on installments from abroad without being in Kenya?
3. Timeline clarity — How long does it take to get a title deed internationally?
AMCCO's answers were straightforward. Every plot is pre-searched on Ardhisasa. Ownership is verified. All documentation is transparent and independently verifiable from anywhere. Payment options include cash, installments, and bank financing through NCBA and Co-operative Bank. Title deeds are issued within 30 days of payment — and can be shipped internationally if needed.
But beyond logistics, Ken and Sharon stressed something deeper: diaspora Kenyans have a genuine investment advantage. You have distance from Nairobi's prestige noise. You can see infrastructure patterns clearly. You have longer investment horizons and stronger purchasing power. The Ngong-Suswa corridor — with its infrastructure-driven appreciation and current affordability — is exactly where diaspora money should be moving.
On 24th May, they participated in African Liberation Day celebrations organized by the Group of African Ambassadors and the Pan-African Movement — Rwanda. At the Kigali Paramount Hotel, Ken and Sharon connected with multiple ambassadors and further engaged the Kenyan community.
The setting sent a message: AMCCO is thinking globally about diaspora opportunity, partnering with official channels (the Kenyan Ambassador, Association of Kenyans in Rwanda), and treating Kenyans abroad as serious investors.
By the end of two days, the picture was clear:
Buying from abroad is genuinely possible — with proven processes and digital-first support
AMCCO does verification upfront — diaspora buyers don't have to worry about title safety
Infrastructure matters more than buzz — The Ngong-Suswa corridor offers better risk-adjusted returns than peaked prestige locations
Diaspora has real advantages — Distance, capital access, longer time horizons, and currency strength position Kenyans abroad to recognize opportunities faster
AMCCO is thinking about your needs — Coming to Rwanda was intentional, not an afterthought
Before leaving, Ken and Sharon identified diaspora representatives as AMCCO ambassadors, equipping them with project flyers and branded banners for future community events.
This Rwanda engagement is deliberate. The Kenyan diaspora spans the US, Middle East, Europe, Australia, and East Africa. They have capital. They have investment intent. But they've been underserved by developers treating them as secondary.
AMCCO is choosing differently — going where diaspora Kenyans are, partnering with official channels, and building sustainable pipelines of confident investors.
Whether you're in Rwanda or anywhere in the world, the process is designed for you.
